A Fiber and Bead Lovers' Heaven

Out in the beautiful, rolling countryside of upstate New York, is a real treasure for fiber and bead crafters. Customers actually do refer to it as "heaven" when they can come out and find all the gorgeous yarns, patterns, beads, and jewelry. It’s even more heavenly when folks can just sit around with kindred souls and knit or bead on the open knitting evening (Tuesday) or take a class in the beautiful upstairs classroom, overlooking the extensive wooded acreage.

The shop is under thirty minutes from Rochester (490) out 441 and just a short road trip from Syracuse and Buffalo. Get your fiber and beading friends together and visit a little bit of heaven.

In the past two years the shop has evolved into what should probably be named the Sheep, Wool, Bead, and Jewelry Shop or even, more precisely, the No-Sheep, Wool, Bead and Jewelry Shop. All that gets too complicated though– Sheep and Wool Shop will do just fine. It’s not crucial that I no longer raise sheep. It’s a little disappointing to me, but time moves fast and we never know where life’s journeys will take us. Now I have 2 beautiful Shelties, Panda and her daughter, Emily, and 3 happy cats.
